THE PROJECT
The furniture that is presented in this proposal is a consequence of the investigation consequent search of the forms that hide the sheets of wood and that appear after their manipulation. Forms corresponding to both different ergonomically proven shapes and parts of complex pieces of furniture, in such a way that, by folding a plywood sheet, a piece of furniture is generated which has three arrangements: One position, for two positions and stackable part for configuring a space separation element. A piece of furniture that is designed to work in spacious interior spaces, both in public and private buildings. A piece of furniture that can be interpreted, not only from the functional point of view, but also, from its expressive and variable capacity: a piece capable of characterizing an interior space.
A furniture that allows to develop activities related to personal well-being: reading, resting, relaxing, relating to interior spaces, isolating oneself from other spaces, situations intimately related to living, in such a way that, taking the situation to the extreme, we propose afurniture screen from 04 Positions (three of seat and one of separation of spaces), designed as asheet habitable.
