THE PROJECT
The furniture that is presented in this proposal is born as a result of the work, study and search of the forms that hide the complex geometries and that appear after their manipulation. Shapes corresponding to different silhouettes ergonomically tested in such a way that, by the modeling of a base part, a bench is generated for four seat positions.
A piece of furniture that continuously forms seats with backrests, seats without backrest and positions to be lying down.
A piece of furniture that is designed to function in large spaces, mainly, outdoor spaces both of public urban character (squares, parks ...) and private (private gardens ...).
A piece of furniture that can be interpreted, not only from the functional point of view, but also, from the sculptural point of view, as a piece capable of characterizing a space. Sculptural for its three-dimensional condition and for its two-dimensional condition: ability of general lights and shadows changing on the pavements thanks to the focus of light, mainly solar, through the folds of the bench.
A furniture that allows to develop activities related to personal well-being: reading, resting, relaxing, relating to other people, relating to the environment, isolating oneself ... situations intimately related to living, in such a way that, taking the situation to the extreme, We propose afurniture from 04 Positions, designed as a part Sectioned habitable.
